WHAT IS AYPP?

An ‘Open-door’ partnership of organisations working to develop a strategic
approach to provision for young people in Ashley. The group has formed to
achieve the above, avoid duplication of work, identify and fill gaps in
provision, and avoid unnecessary competition for funding within the area.
The underlying principal of the partnership is to work towards social
cohesion and a better life experience for young people in the community.

PARTNERSHIP AIMS

The Partnership Agreement was formally adopted in May 2002, and sets out the
partnership aims:

1. Develop a strategic Approach to provision of services for
Young People in the Ashley Locality by working in partnership

2. Produce a three year Development Plan

3. Develop Action Plans
