free cyanotype workshop

FREE 1-DAY WORKSHOP

Thursday 25th February 2010

10am – 5pm

Through the Transformation Fund we are able to bring a programme of courses as part of the Learning Revolution, which enables learning for pleasure in an informal setting.

Cyanotypes, are one of the oldest photographic processes, which was first used in the early 19th Century. Using this technique you will learn how to make your own light-sensitive paper and then produce photograms or prints using UV/daylight. Explore the many different ways in which this fascinating process can be applied.

Wild-dayz - an exhibition about bristol's music scene and its history

Bristol Wild Dayz - By Beezer

On February 14th 2010 there is a one day photography workshop with Beezer,

It is an exceptional chance for 20 young people to work with an internationally renowned photographer, and they will then have the opportunity to exhibit their photographs at Picture Space from March 2010 - June 2010.

St Pauls Unlimited have funded the project so it is for young people from St Pauls community. There will be a minimal cost to them for the day (no more than £10).

This exhibition will be on from now until February 28th 2010 and a bigger one is on at Bristol's City Museum and Art Gallery for the same duration.
